Ironshoe Farms, owned by Wayne & Lois Tucker, is a family affair. Three generations work side by side to run the farm and the Mobile Petting Zoo. Wayne & Lois are assisted in all their endeavors by daughter Lisa and grandson Chip. Wayne did a great job teaching Chip to drive the team of Percherons, and now Chip pitches in with hayrides (very popular in the fall) and carriage rides. He also shows the team in driving competitions and does quite well!

The Tuckers' love of animals is apparent in their mobile petting zoo, and also in their animal rescue activities. To date, the family has rescued a potbelly pig, a pony, an alpaca and a number of ducks. They also rescued three llamas and one mule, and arranged for their transport to Florida where they could live out their lives.
